The River Thames, one of London’s landmark features, remains one of London’s most under-used resources
Massive growth in riverside residential and office space - from Putney in the West to the Gateway region in the East - and ever increasing congestion on the capital’s roads provide the perfect backdrop for London to capitalise on both commuter and tourist opportunities provided by the Thames
London First is working to rationalise river services, in order to maximise these opportunities. Using the expertise and creativity of our members, we are looking at ways to link new riverside development and existing surface transport with reliable and easy-to-use river boat services.
